Charter Membership for Retail Agents and Brokers

What is it and why should I care?  Charter members represent an elite class of associate membership. With Charter membership comes additional value and benefits as well as a greater commitment to the association by the member.

What's in it for me?  The opportunity to participate in a truly unique and cutting-edge insurance product that will differentiate your firm while helping your clients address one of the more significant social and business issues they've faced in years. More specifically, the benefits include:

  • Visibility on the AGPOM website as a charter member.
  • BOR protection from other non-charter member brokers and agents.
  • Access to new business leads in the form of AGPOM primary members.
  • Priority service from Fulcrum Insurance Programs.
  • Differentiation in the market and the ability to help your clients do the same.

What are the additional commitments I must meet to retain my status?  Your office must have a signed broker agreement with Fulcrum Insurance Programs and be actively submitting targeted business resulting in at least 3 bound accounts in the first 12 months. Production goals will be discussed and agreed upon for future years.

How many Charter Members will there be?  Charter membership will be limited to no more than 25 per State and 3 in any metropolitan area.

Do my other offices count toward my production commitments?  No, each office would be subject to the above commitment.

How do I get started? It's very simple. Send an email to info@agpom.org telling us about your firm. An AGPOM representative will call to discuss potential for a partnership. Once approved, complete and submit the Charter Membership Form along with your membership check. Your member plaque and seal will arrive in a few short weeks.

Energy savings and sustainability are significant issues facing all business owners today and for the foreseeable future. Bob Lurie of the Harvard Business Review writes, "We're in an interesting period in history when the relationship businesses have with society is undergoing a fundamental, permanent change. And sustainability, if not the epicenter of that change, certainly exemplifies it."
